12 DAYS OF DANCE, CULTURE, FRIENDSHIP & FUN. IMMERSE YOURSELF IN ONE OF THE OLDEST AND RICHEST CULTURES IN THE WORLD

This is our third annual tour to Kerala. The previous tour exceeded our expectations. I am so excited to have again confirmed Devesh Mirchandani to travel from Mumbai to teach us in Varkala. He is one of my favourite Bollywood choreographers. Susheela Pai is a well reputed Keralan teacher and performer and teaches Bollywood and several forms of classical Indian dance. The classes will be tailored to the level of the group. I ask if you are coming on this tour you come with an open heart and the expectation that changes may occur along the way.

itinerary (subject to change)

Day 1 - MEET Kochi - Hotel TBC (airport transfer included and will be arranged for you)

Day 2 - Rest day - A day to explore (tours can be arranged), rest, get a massage or shop

Day 3-6

8am Breakfast

8:45am: Rickshaw or walk to Mudra Centre for Dance

9am -12pm: Dance class (with breaks) Bollywood and Classical Dance.

Afternoons are free to explore, shop, eat, rest etc

Day 7 - 8am Breakfast

10am Train from Ernakalum to Varkala (3 .5 -5hours) Free afternoon

Day 8 -12 March

8am Breakfast

9am-12pm Dance class with Devesh Mirchandani

2-5pm Optional dance Class with Devesh Mirchandani

Day 12 - Evening performance and celebration at Darjeeling Restaurant Varkala

Day 13 - 8am Breakfast - Tour ends - You can either train back to Kochi or fly out of Trivandrum or continue your travels

NOTE

All accomodation in Kochi is AC. There are limited AC rooms available in Varkala. Accomodation is basic and clean. Food costs between $2-15 per meal (approx). Ayurvedic Massages and treatments are approx $30 p/h. Yoga classes are $8 approx.

Trivandrum airport is 1 hour taxi drive from Varkala so you might consider flying into Kochi and out of Trivandrum. Otherwise if you wish to return to Kochi train travel can be arranged. Extra nights accom can be arranged for you if you wish to arrive earlier or stay later. (Extra cost)

DEPOSIT

A deposit of $800 is due within one month of lodging your booking. We hope you understand that this deposit is non-refundable. The outstanding balance is due 60 days before the start of tour date and is also non-refundable.
